Calendar of events
At this practice we follow a schedule or cycle of events that take place throughout the year. Our year starts at the beginning of April and finishes at the end of March the following year. So those of you that have a long term condition such diabetes or heart disease will be asked to attend an annual check-up at the practice. We have to get all these annual check-ups completed before the end of March.
Later on in the year, usually from about September, we invite patients for their annual flu jab. This injection is available for free for everyone aged 65 or more. It is also available for free to younger people who suffer from diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
Other screening or vaccination campaigns start during the year and are dictated by the
NHS.
