Flu clinics
These are opening from next week and we are inviting the following groups
of patients for a immunisation:
- Patients over 65 years of age
- and patienst with a long term condition (any age) such as heart
disease or stroke
The patient particupation group is looking for feed back from our
patients on some inovative ideas that they would like to implement. Have
your ssy and let us know what you think about these ideas:
TexMex - Patients results via a text message (SMS)
I had been telling everyone that TexMex messages are sent after 09:00 in the
morning on the next working day. So whenever I ran the overnight job
(anywhere from 03:00 - 08:00 in the morning it would still go out at 09:00).
However, I learned to my dismay (yesterday 16/11/2011) that this is not the
case. The message goes off immediately to the recipients.
I will be contacting the supplier (Csoft) as I had been told this was how
the system was going to work. I will get this fixed. Unfortunately some of
our poor patients may well have been woken up early the morning when I ran
the job!
To all those patients I have woken let me apologise.
